What We Build
Who ASTRIC Is For
What We Believe
Chasing Peaks means pushing higher - in terrain and in life.Follow Stars means trusting direction even when the path is not obvious.
ASTRIC was born in Canmore, Alberta.Built for the night side of the mountains.Made for those who keep moving - calmly, prepared, and steady.
We believe performance matters more than appearance.Function matters more than decoration.Consistency matters more than hype.
The mountains reveal character. The night reveals discipline.
ASTRIC stands for quiet confidence - built through preparation, focus, and movement.
Direction
ASTRIC is not for everyone.
It is for those who move when others turn back. For those who respect preparation. For those who feel more alive when the trail is empty and the sky is clear.
It is for individuals who prefer silence over noise and clarity over distraction.
If your real movement begins after sunset, you already understand ASTRIC.
We design technical outerwear and performance gear meant for alpine conditions - cold air, wind exposure, snow, and long movement under unpredictable weather.
Our approach is grounded in three principles:
Protection. Reliable resistance against wind, moisture, and temperature shifts.
Precision. Clean construction, intentional fit, and carefully selected materials.
Restraint. No unnecessary features. No decorative excess. Only what serves a purpose.
Every seam, zipper, and panel is placed with intention. Our products are not designed for showrooms. They are designed for ridgelines.
The mountains feel different at night.
During the day, there are crowds, light, and clear paths. At night, everything simplifies. There is no distraction. No noise. No extra help.
Your awareness sharpens. Your preparation matters. Your equipment becomes part of your survival.
The night removes what is unnecessary. What remains is what works.
ASTRIC is built for that environment.
ASTRIC was born in Canmore, Alberta, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. It did not begin as a business idea or a fashion concept. It began in the mountains - on real trails, under cold skies, in conditions that do not care about branding.
In Canmore, weather changes quickly. The wind can turn sharp without warning. After sunset, the temperature drops fast. The mountains are not decoration - they are reality. It was in these conditions that ASTRIC started to take shape.
Night hikes became the foundation. Long ascents after dark. Empty trails. The quiet beam of a headlamp cutting through black air. In those moments, gear stops being aesthetic and becomes essential.
ASTRIC was created because regular apparel wasn’t enough.
